New York School of Interior Design Entrance Lobby
Midtown, NYC

Produce all design drawings for permitting and construction
Coordinate closely with wood ceiling fabricator and lighting consultants.
Formerly a narrow hallway that served as the building’s service entry, the lobby opens to its full potential width to become a suitable entrance to upper floor tenants. The minimalist design serves as a gallery for the owner to display his art collection. Ample light is creatively positioned for a variety of lighting scenarios. The custom fabricated wood ceiling provides a sculptural tunnel that draws visitors inward while providing coves that hide the many ambient light fixtures above.
